Why Does it takes a long time to complete face recognition?
Usually the wait time is a result of internet latency and other ambient environment issues, please check the following:
  1. Internet: Please make sure you have a stable internet connection, or upgrade your connection speed.
  2. Lighting: Please make sure the you have consistent and sufficient lighting condition, and face is not covered by shadows.
  3. Angle: Pleas make sure you directly face the camera and in focus. Face is upright and not covered by objects.
Why is there detection failure or detected wrong face?
Please remove your eyeglasses, masks or other external objects.  Also, please make sure your photo ID is similar to the one in our database.
Why is there error message "This device does not exist, please login again"?
Please check with admin to make sure whether your device has been deleted from the database.
Why is there error message "Punch Clock mode is not enabled on this device"?
Admin can enable Punch Clock mode under "Device setting" in the GoFace portal.
What are Detection Modes?
  1. Fixed Detection-Close: Only detects face that appears in more than 80% of the detection area. Suitable for high background traffic scenario
  2. Fixed Detection-Far: Detects faces that appear and stop in the detection area. Suitable for entrance/exits scenario
  3. Dynamic Detection: Detects any face that appears in the camera. Default mode.
What is "Run Face Recognition Now"?
When we cannot detect faces, you can press this to manually take a photo to run detection.
What is "Apply Attendance"?
When detection shows the wrong person, use this to manually apply attendance record.  Photo will be submit to Store Org for assisting attendance verification.
